CHINA RECEIVED A DELEGATION OF NATIONAL DEPUTIES
At the invitation of the National People's Congress, a group of deputies from the Parliamentary Friendship Group (PFG) with the People's Republic of China of the Chamber of Deputies visited Beijing and Shanghai.

The visit followed the fruitful meeting between the President of Argentina, Javier Milei, and the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, at the G20 summit, with the aim of continuing to strengthen their ties of friendship.

The delegation, which was federal and multi-party in nature, was led by the president of the GPA, Representative Juliana Santillán (La Libertad Avanza), and Representatives Damián Arabia (PRO), Martín Ardohain (PRO), Juan Marino (Union for the Homeland), Oscar Agost Carreño (Federal Meeting), Julia Strada (Union for the Homeland), Natalia Sarapura (UCR) and Yolanda Vega (Federal Innovation).

During their stay, the group of parliamentarians held meetings with Peng Qinghua, Vice Chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee; Bayin Chaolu, Chairman of the National People's Congress Ethnic Affairs Committee and Chairman of the China-Argentina Parliamentary Friendship Group; Hua Chunyin, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Spokesperson; and Ma Hui, Vice Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.

At these meetings, the Chinese authorities expressed their satisfaction with the reforms initiated by President Javier Milei's administration and agreed on the importance of defending free trade without restrictions of any kind. They also emphasized the full willingness of both parties to advance and deepen cooperation mechanisms in trade, finance, culture, sports, and education, with a view to continuing the rapprochement between the two nations.

In terms of trade and investment, the complementarity between the two economies was highlighted, which provides guarantees for a solid, long-term relationship.

Meanwhile, the Chinese authorities reaffirmed their support for Argentina's claim to sovereignty over the Falkland Islands. In turn, the Argentine parliamentarians reiterated the Republic of Argentina's long-standing commitment to the "one China principle."

As a result of these productive exchanges, it was agreed to hold the "5th China-Argentina Parliamentary Political Dialogue" in our country next year.
